You guys should do an "I saw you" thread. I live in Southern California, but I grew up in NE Portland. We have a thread like that down here on LAfixed, and it's pretty funny sometimes. Anyhow, just a suggestion. I know the site is new, so there aren't too many of the fix'd riders on here yet, but give it time.

Everytime I see someone I'll just run up to them and yell, "HEY DO YOU GO ON PDXFIXED.COM, BECAUSE I'M TOTALLY ON THERE?! WANT TO BE FRIENDS FOREVER AND EVER AND WATCH LABYRINTH AT MY HOUSE LATER?!"

Or maybe I'll just print one of my spoke cards so you can ID me.

Yea inner SE and NE lots of bikes period......they tend to fade a little out here, still plenty. But not so many fixed.

I'm between Glisan and Burnside @ 128th..........Burnside is my daily run. I work down by 28th and Sandy.

Working nights, I'm heading into Portland when most are heading out.

When I get back there June 1st I will be on SE 49th and Woodstock. I always lived closer in than that but it's a rad house and it's cheap and has yards for the dogs.

I'm not quite East of I-205, I'm just west at 76th & Stephens. I agree, though, that as soon as you get out past Ladd's circle the fixies aren't as common. They're a bit more common on Clinton than on Lincoln, Glisan, Tillamook or any of the other easternly routes. I've commuted in the mornings with this one guy who rocked a fixie & I could hardly keep up, gggrrrrrr..... But I also go to work early and so I usually am lucky enough to not see anyone. Except for this Mexican guy this morning wearing a pancho & a cowboy hat going through people's recycling. I get a bunch of those folks.
