theres a dude in town with one. and another at bikecentral. tig welds and so-so tubes. cool if your into that geometry but kinda impractical. toe overlap is a fact of life on most true track bikes. even amys TT has a good 2" of toe overlap. you just get used to it.

the geometry isn't that crazy. it's a pursuit illusion bike with 700c front: i'm looking at at a 54cm size - that's 57cm ST, 54cm TT and 120mm HT with a 75.5 STA, 73 HTA. the forward slopeing TT basically creates an illusion and most of their demo bikes are setup with the saddles jacked up in the air.

the only thing is i normally ride 56cm tt so that would make this bike smallish.

Dude, when are people going to understand that pursuit bars are pretty much a must on pursuit frames..

i would set it up like the cinelli/mash collabo bike... which is another double 700c "pursuit" bike. (it's not really).

I met them guyz last spring. They were rad. They kept giving us budweiser after budweiser. Free beer is good. That is all I know.

before you buy an affinity, drop your bars all the way down and jack your seat up a bit too. then tape 3" wood blocks to your toes. pretty good simulation right there.

or just buy my GTB, its got that 700c pursuit look.

Well I just got back from the Trexlertown Bike Swap meet. The track is much nicer than Alpenrose with less bank angle and longer distance. The meet was incredible - track bikes, bikes from 1920s, Cioccs, Richard Sachs, carbon Cervelo pistas, Kuota track bikes, you name it.

Just bought Woundup carbon fork, 49T Sugino 75 NOS ring, Deda Pista drops and some Vittoria cross tires for a price you wouldn't believe.

The Affinity guys were there selling their frames, carbon road frames branded as Affinity and some generic (but tight!) carbon clinchers laced to Zipp hubs for $1200. I think I'mma pass on the Affinity and get a frame to fit around this 1-1/8" Woundup I just got. Shits hot. It looks like the Bontrager carbon fork I have on my Poprad with better attention to detail and a different carbon weave (it has wide irregular weave vs tight).

told ya it's not to be missed. the one in the spring is supposed to be even better, more international sellers.

So, he cancelled the Affinity becase they are backordered for another month and he found a Panasonic NJS for $350 on Churi&CoNYC.
