I was thinking this forum could use a place to post pics of beautiful bikes.
Keep it clean everybody, bikes only.
the old
and the new

Edit: But the same cranks! Just noticed
the new one is like if batman rode a bike. do the bullhorns shoot small bat-like projectiles?

i couldn't resist :D

One of my favorites from NAHBS, the brooks is a bit incongruous, though.
Edit: apparently imageshack thinks this thread is actual porn
oooooo here's my buddy's bike he just got done building almost full NJS.

here's a couple pictures I took from NAHBS that were my faves.

that bike ain't full njs in the pic...
Stolen from sffixed:

that hetchins makes me weep...
*changes underwear*
that bike at NAHBS that had a hole in the top tube for your u-lock. sick. if anyone has a pic of that bike, please post it!
There are very few things I would not do to own that hetchins. I can't find a single thing I don't like. And since I post on BFSSFG thats saying something.
does this count

by golly, that last picture is makin' me feel funny!
The Hetchins has to be my least favorite bike in the thread... way too gaudy for my tastes. Loving the Cinelli and De Rosa roads like no one's business though...
the stem on the hetchins stem looks like a penis, flacid.
zelah:the stem on the hetchins stem looks like a penis, flacid.
That is quite a prettily lugged penis.

amen
So I kind of feel that this thread is done after crosset's post. That De Rosa...
my pal's wife has a nice de rosa, all campy record stuff on it. cinelli bars w original tape. just getting dusty. i was gonna air it up and ride it, but the head set was so stiff all the grease has turned to wax...
I personally don't give a F,just a ten speed to me, but it would probably make a tifosi cry.
oooh thats gonna piss someone off.
just sell it on ebay.
needs a new front tire...but other than that she's perfect :P

No offense but the chain screams "Toys R Us" bike to me.
seconded
^-- I dont know about painted chain thing as a whole. Seems like it would just flake and get in the drive train to me. Gunking it up and slowing you down. But maybe its all just in my head.
--
This was great though. :)
oh yeah, its pretty bright, but i like it and i'ma chick so I get to be flashy! but the KMC Z yellow was hard to find, ended up finding one on ebay. She's just for velodrome use though, so i'm not too worried about gunking it up.
and yes the above pic is grand!
that blue bike with the disk and the zip V and the brooks?
incongruous freal!
haha
needs like an arione.

I like how the downspout is enjoying the view.

Looks about right to me.
Shouldn't cause a problem if the chainline is spot on. That's how track guys run it.

Learn something new every day.
...Guess I shouldn't be so absolute.
I think my newly completed build qualifies as bike porn.

What exactly is your bikes intended use. It seems very schizophrenic.
im going with cx
Not UCI sanctioned CX races. You'd think if you were going to have a bike with a $2000 wheelset that you could use it in something more than just the Crosscrusade races, like the USGP last year at PIR for instance.
Don't get me wrong I like the bike I was just wondering what it was used for primarily?
Long distance road cycling (in the rain). It doesn't see much dirt usage.

Well I mean, you partly are right if the chainline is off.
what hubs are those? phil?
The bianchi has a campy c record rear hub.
I think he meant the lemond, which has Chris King hubs if I remember right. I like that is only has one front chain ring making it semi-minimalist and the disc brakes are probably nice. But the Eggbeaters kill me personally. Whats she weigh in at? What gear range do you have in the back? Go up pretty high to compensate for the single front ring or are you just so speedy you dont need to drop it very low? ;)
Random fact- the 11-34t xtr cassette and xtr shadow rd together cost as mush as my complete pista. Some things defy justisfication and this is one if those cases. I had fun building it up because I waded into uncharted territory with respect to parts selection and general bike platform.
The gear range with the 44t chainring is equal in gear inches to that of a compact road double with a 12-23. But mine us more trouble free and easier to fix out on the road. The eggbeaters are awesome in their simplicity. I rode the Seattle to Portland in one day with them in sidi shoes.

As mush as a pista? Dang man.
The gear overlaps in my 36/50 and 11/26 can be a little redundant but it treats me pretty well on the Shark. Except for dropping my chain during my first road race which dropped me from the pack, but ive learned what not to do since then.
Im not really liking most the high end collabs, but this one is pretty sexy. Would never own it though.
That will be in the next Lupe Fiasco video. Just you wait.
