While I may be one to instigate, I do agree that this banter doesn't really get anyone anywhere. Sure there are some bikes that have ridiculous components that make them look silly. Sure, some silly components CAN look good on certain bikes. There are very few definite things in this world. Therefore (This could get shot down), I propose we focus on hanging out and being nice to each other. There's really no point in feeling better than anyone else. I know I do it from time to time, but I'd appreciate if my bros were bro enough to call me out on it. I remember people not judging me when I had a terrible abomination of a bike. I don't ever want to feel as though I'm alienating someone who hasn't done something catastrophic to deserve it. Call me optimistic, call me crazy, but I would really like to see things change. and with that, I will make a post in the "Introduce Yourself" thread.
