    This was a sad day for Jake, Jacopo (Dodici), Ryan, and myself. We did this event for the Fixed Gear community of Portland. I worked my ass off to get prizes for everyone because I wanted to take part in helping people who I embrace. I even used my own money to help promote this event.

    I feel so bad you guys put a great deal of effort into last night, and that is not how it should end. Were was the U-haul parked at. As he said it could have been some one from last night, or random fuckheads. I am out and about a lot and people try to sell me shit all the time so I will do my best to look for your stuff. I was going to email DODICI and see what he would sell the the pink frame for so that sucks.

    What's worse... I just had to pay $200 to U-haul for the broken window... and I got the insurance which absolutely did nothing!

    Yeah, they said since the cargo vans are under lease, insurance or "Safemove" can't be applied. I'm glad they pitched the sale to me in the beginning... scammers!

    Max you might be right, but I was told they didn't take every thing in the van.That is a little odd if they had the room. I feel it was more than random for that Uhaul full of BLING bikes to be broken in to.

Help them out and find their stolen shit. Seriously

    I'm downtown most of everyday,I'll keep an eagle eye out. And if i find someone on either bike,well,you don't want to know what i want to do. If everybody can work together I'm sure we can find out who and why did this. And for the sake of the persons health,I sure hope it was random. Cause stealing from Wall-Mart or any other corporate slobs are one thing,but stealing from your friends is the lowest shit ever.

    Yeah, we asked people walking by and bikers near by... no one to our knowledge saw anything. Yesterday, Jake R, Amy W, and myself went down to the area where the break-in was to see if you could even find boxes the thieves may have ditched... but nothing.

    saw a dude on a celeste 80s-early 90s bianchi roadie with celeste saddle and double celeste water bottles. he didn't look like a bike dork, so it was kind of "not bike dork" profiling. but i saw it in ne off fremont.

    Yes, please help. I placed flyers at RiverCity, Bike Central, City Bike 1 & 2, Recyclery (16th), Coventry, and, Veloce. So if anyone can flyers the rest of the shops and common places were cyclist hang out... that would be so awesome.

    I have been noticing the flyers all over shops.
    I was talking ot some people out side of city bikes a few days ago and told them the whole story. They said that they would keep their eyes peeled and tell all there friends.

    i was tempted to steal a bike the other day, but it was just to prove a point. some idiot had two u-locks on his costco full-suspension mountain bike; one on each wheel. each quick-release wheel. crap. so i took the frame and picked it up and turned it around.

    my bike was stolen about one hour ago, around 1:30PM on friday august 28th from where it was locked up in the south park blocks. it's a metallic dark blue motobecane 52cm track frame, single speed. i recently re-taped to the bars with metallic blue fizik tape and it had metal foot cages with blue leather straps. also there was somewhat of a dent in the middle of the tob tube. if you have any information or if you see it around anywhere, please let me know, as this was my only means of transportation. 541.513.1286

    my road bike was stolen from my porch a couple nights ago.

    it's a giant carbon tubed cadex. don't remember the exact measurements but I'd say 50cm cause it was just a bit too big.
    shimano 105 group with the exception of one of the derailleurs being suntour.
    mavic open pros.
    almost everyone knows what it looks like but if you don't
    this isn't mine but looks the same, minus the pedals.
