my uncle's thomson got stolen outside of his work downtown today. granted he had it in a quick release seat clamp, but still if you know about it let me know. It's in PERFECT condition, it's a setback, and it's the longest one you can buy. there was a shitty saddle that said italia on it and a clamp on rack.

thanks for posting the pics I suck at html. There are really no specialty components to speak of. Bike was as conversion as conversions come. Sakae cranks if I remember right, it was a univega frame before it was powdercoated white, most of the bike parts were just the original parts. My friend completed the pacific crest trail so I made it for him with the PCT emblem superglued to the front of the bike. I just wanted to commemorate his hike with a bike. Now some bastard stole it. My friend lives on the corner white house at 15th and Ankeny if anyone finds it you can take it there.

So, I just purchased what I believe to be a stolen bike in hopes that I might do a good deed and return it to its rightful owner. I work at a bike shop in St. Johns and the guy who was selling it obviously wasn't the original owner.

The frame has a custom sparkly paint job and the components are nice enough to make me think that whoever owns this bike knows bikes.

It's a 61cm track frame with matching fork, set up to run as a fixed gear. Nice deep v wheelset, nice headset, bars, and stem. It's a custom job for sure. So... if you think I've just described your bike and you would like to claim it, shoot me an email. I'll need you to describe the paint job, color of the grips, and brand of components before I'll let it go. If you can tell me what the make of the original frame was, you're in really good shape. And also, if you don't mind repaying me the $25 that I gave to the presumed theif, I'd appreciate it.

Just hoping to return this nice fixie to whomever put the time and money into making it their own.
