Haha. Look at the rake on that fork in the first pic...

Zelah you should take a look at Eugene, the level of retarded lock jobs there makes Portland look like a paradise. Not to mention the fact that 90 percent of the bikes are dept. store throwaways.

I like the break placement on the first one heh... Everything about it is contrary to intuition.

Hey, on those 50 dollar K-Mart Magnas everyone in eugene rides, you know the ones I mean. You gotta if you go to school there! Do you know if the drop outs are like 100% vertical, or are the slightly angled? I had this really funny idea for awhile now. . .

kyle: Probably 100 percent vertical, and no you shouldn't convert it into a junker fixed joke bike...

    Haha. Oh man.
The lever is backwards, so it the caliper and bars. Then the lock job. Just wow.

With that second lock job, I would have been tempted to undo the QR and move it off the skewer, so when they unlock it and grabbed the frame to move it, it would have come off the wheel. Then left a note about learn how to lock your bike.

Thats blasphemy! Me and some friends are looking for something to tie a long rope to and ride off a dock, what better then this kid I know in Eugene's Magna. . . CONVERTED!

edit: Obviously he lives in Eugene if he rides a Magna and doesn't find it to be an issue.

Well the first picture is someone attempting to use flipped mustache bars as knockoff bullhorns, and the second guy used a U-Lock to lock his front wheel without locking the frame.

Seen not far from the last bike I posted:

This bike has been slowly disappearing over the last week or so. All the parts missing so far were quick release items. I noticed the bike locked that way for two days before parts went missing.

    Sad. So sad.

    No photo, just commentary…

My buddy had a cable lock and said hey 'you want me to get your bike too'. I said 'sure, why not' even though my rear tire was already u-locked to a pole. When we come out from Chipotle it turns out he locked my bike and not his, so it sat unlocked for like 20min. Haha. Idiot.
