Yeah man, sounds good. I was going to race Alpenrose but I'm having a problem with the rear axle slipping because it was filed down previously on two sides to fit into (8mm) keirin frame track ends. I'll try to get that replacement axle and we can go ride somewhere, I'd like to do a little distance and go somewhere where I don't have to stop for traffic lights.

Gonna use the cork tape method for my TT protector because I've always found it ridiculous shelling out 45 or so bucks for that Kashimax when clear vinyl tubing can be had for $1 from Ace Hardware and it's the same thing... but yeah, front tire is racing status, rear is freebie skid status, but I'll be riding the matching rear Pro Race 3 tire on the rear for track. Just don't wanna skid it on the streets.

just got done giving his report to the cop.

the rims are fucked but thankfully he got by with just some road rash and a gnarly deep cut on his arm. -

Simple. Summertime. More people on bikes more often = greater chance of "violent accidents/not accidents between cars and bicycles."
EDIT- Heat could also play a factor, e.g., Do The Right Thing.

p.s. we waited in front of bike central for over an hour for the cop to come.he never did. a transit cop took the report instead. told us to watch the news because apparently a truck tipped by the freeway and spilled some shit everywhere.
it was a weird day. so weird that I almost forgot jonah owes me money. pay up, buddy.
