Yo!

I'm trying to find a good setup for fixed freestyle riding. Mainly trying to get as much toe clip clearance while bar spinning.

Right now I'm riding a Soma Rush to Soma Track frame with a 650c up front and 165mm crank arms. I have to have my top foot between 11 or higher to avoid toe clip overlap. I'd really like to build a Gangsta Track frame for 700c barspins with more clearance. Would really prefer not to spend that much on a frame though.

Has anyone tried building up a road bike with a straight fork?

yeah, i was thinking about the fork, which would help a bit but I don't think I'd get the clearance I'm looking for.

a 29" fork is an interesting idea. Although using a 650c has about the same effect. It'd be nice to keep the geometry of the bike intact.

it would be a really slim chance that you could find a fork that compensated for rake, trail, and height...
