    they changed up the course this year such that it favors a versatile rider vs a pure climber. cancelleda has been ripping up the classics this spring and the guy can sprint. I agree, vandevelde was foolish to take the maillot jaune so early. He put stress on himself and his team too early. He will lose it before possibly getting it back.

    Has anyone found the tour live online?

    My work has a subscription to Sling Box, which allows us to watch direct tv online. Which I was hoping to be perfect, but no. For some reason we dont get that network. ARG.
    If that did work, I would probably come to work at 530a just so I could watch TDF. But now I have to wait for the 5-7p showing at home. But I wanna watch it unfold live. :P

    Cancellara was 100th last year, 3h15m behind the yellow jersey. This year has a couple less high mountain stages but not enough to make Cancellara a contender. He might loose close to an hour on just stage 17 which has three HC climbs.

    Ahhhh...

    Ive been watching the Time Trail today on my roommates new 42" LCD. PWNT!

    If anyone wants to come watch there is another hour and a half left. Then I'm going to go do some flat land. I also have beer.

    I watched today live. Mostly because the last 2 days have been impossible to sleep due to the road rash. Usually I only watch the real important, or stages where there should be a good sprint

    armstrong is nice to fans but a dick to anyone he works with, my dad was his head media rep for a while and said he was a huge asshole
