since I be outta work again and brokeski and i really need a black phil wood hub to go with my black sugino 75's

I will be offering my services as a wheel builder to the general public. I would rather this be an opportunity for me to teach YOU how to build wheels.

So if I straight up build a 3 cross wheel for ya, $20 gets it laced, tensioned and trued. and trued again after the initial 100 mile break in period. I guarantee all my work and have references available as well as examples of my work on hand.

funky lacings will be a little more. But having you there and teaching you step by step will cost nothing. I'd be more than happy to show you how it's done. Your hands will do the work, with me guiding you every step of the way, so there's no worry of messing up anything. ANYONE can do this, it just takes a little patience and some practice.

Imagine the sense of accomplishment you'll feel riding around on a set of wheels YOU built. theres not much cooler.

so hit me with a whisper if your interested. we'll talk parts pricing and such.

Hey dude, I really want to do this...have you teach me, that is. I'll probably be getting some cheap stuff to build new wheels for my conversion at some point down the road (read: when I have a new job) and I'll definitely be calling you.

I'm trying to learn to true wheels.

PS Kids, $20 is a very generous deal for a wheelbuild.

Doug helped me true up a real old wheel and was awesome.
I now know just enough to really get myself into some trouble. ;)

$20 is a steal for what Doug's offering.

Oh and I think he accepts tips in Black Sparks. Just FYI.

i ask one thing before you build a wheel. that we take a sec and discuss what you need out of the wheel. There's more to consider than looking fresh on deep vees and phils signature on your hub ( not that i wouldn't build that wheel in a second )

things like spoke count, spoke type (butted? light guage? ) lacing pattern, etc...

anyways, if your interested, just whisper me when your ready. I'm fully down to move my schedule around yours.
