    For my roommate Cassady. She gets in to PDX tomorrow and her bike will be shipped to her sometime next week, so she just needs a bike for a few days. Anything frm 55-57cm works, really.

    Doug, what size is the pdxfixed loaner? I have a feeling it's too big...

    It's just so she can get around town, so anything will work. Thanks!

    it's a 57 i think. has a really short top tube. if she can stand over it, she'll be fine.

    yep. also needs some bar tape.

    I'd like to institute a "better than you found it" rule , ya know air in the tires, no flats, chain wiped and lubed..etc... something little.

    or meaning maybe toss on some bartape. or a brake. then it's in better shape for the next time.

    Use of free bike for some bar tape?
    How much does it cost to actually rent a bike? I bet over $30. So for several days at the price of maintaining it and bar tape is generous.

    We can switch the parts from the GTB to jeezy's old pista.. should be small enough.. we did that for the last guy who borrowed the loaner bike.

    Hey guys, on the 5th of January my girlfriend will be in town. She rides a 57, but a 55 would be her ideal size. Might I be able to borrow a bike from the 53-57 range?

    It would be for approximately 15 days.
