    although many alterno-culture people would have you believe pop culture music is shit, there's a reason people like Rick Ruben exist....some pop shit kicks ass... much more ass than some indie shit.

    I love dancing to the beach boys. There's a DJ in LA who throws beats under 60s surf. It's pretty rad.

    they've been around for a while. they were one of the bands that came out of the elephant 6 recording company. sort of a collective with Neutral Milk Hotel and Olivia Tremor Control

    me too, the album is hissing fauna are you the destroyer, and it's great

    sunlandic twins is also fabulous, I never really got into the older stuff, those two are my favorites that I know of
