For those who dont know, Bos holds the world record for the flying 200 at 9.772. Although I wouldnt bet that he'll win gold. That honor meez thinks will go to Chris Hoy

oh shit, i've seen that video so many times and never even realized he did that. you have to be putting out some serious power to already be sprinting and then accelerate hard enough again to lift the front wheel. jesu christo...

so in the video they said the bike is unrideable by mere mortals due to its insane stiffness...

That's a bike throw. They're not really pulling the wheelie, but they're throwing the bike so far forward that they pop the front end up. Think "manual", only fixed.

Here's Bayley nipping Bos at the line with a wheelie/throw:

My vote is also for Chris Hoy, though. That guy's got some power. Hoy and Bos tied for 4th at this year's world champs in the sprints, so it's going to be close.

thanks for the heads up on the terminology, either way, thats a lotta torque coming outta their legs....

Honestly not incredibly hard to pull you front wheel like that. Espically when your ride is right at UCI limits. Havnt done it on a throw yet, but on standing starts and trying to stand up when your legs are already at 160-180 rpm....o yea

I honestly think that Hoy could take out Bos's 200 WR if he put his mind to it. He already destroyed the 500m record, and damn near got the kilo. Besides, to me Bos just looks out of it this year. Dont really know how else to say it

But the real question on everyone's mind is…
What would a million dollar tarck bike look like?

I don't think any mortal hipster could ride it.

Maybe if you painted the Tesch gold and made the stem out of diamondz… Oh and put risers on it.
