So I have been thinking about getting a getting a couple of custom made cycling caps for some time now but it ultimately comes to me not wanting to spend the money. So I was looking around and found this. I want to give it a try but I have no sewing skills (but would like to learn). Does anyone have any interest in helping me out and making some caps?
looks sweet, i'd be down for trying that i have a sewing machine, i just need some fabric and maybe a couple of cool graphics to put on it
i have a sewing machine(mothers). i could try it.
I tried it but fucked up horribly. The dimensions are correct but when you print it out you wanna make sure that when you print it out the length is right.
i have a sewing machine and some sewing experiance from making shirts and sewing up other random things back when I was super diy punk. and plus my grandma forcing it on me for many years of my life.
I'm down to help out, we can ride to joannes fabric/crafts or something, or there's that fabric store off burnside, 9 yards or something
i tried using that pattern once but the measurements were off when i printed it out. weird.
I made a quasi-cycling cap a couple nights ago by cutting the hard plastic out of the bill of an old baseball mesh hat, sewing the bill back up, then adding a snap button on the "bill" that was now just two plain fabric things so it attached to the front of the hat.
Pics if I remember it alter.
I'm pretty sure Justin has made a cycling cap (or two) in his day. Ask him.

sounds good.
I have had good luck making caps. I just took apart an old worn out cap that i liked and traced the patter. It worked really well.

I'll actually be getting a day or two off next week, but might go to the coast and get tattooed and visit my mom, but I'm down for some late night sewing action.
