    So I have a red Deep V in the rear and I think it'd look slick with a solid red tire.

    All I can find though are black/red tires that are mostly red. I'd really like a straight red one. Anyone know where to find one?

    continental gp 4000's come in solid red, well the sidewalls are red but the actual rubber is red

    yeah those are just rubinos in red. i think the vredstein red tires actually are more red though, the rubinos are just the shoulders

    vittoria makes the zaffiro and the zaffiro pro with solid red rubber too. check their website

    After learning a bit more about compound make up of colored tires I'm going with the vittoria which has red sidewalls but black contact patch.

    Yeah, there is a reason most tires are black ;)

    Paul-o, judging by the rear hub I would say those are last years Cane Creek volos in silver.
