    i know this has been reiterated many times, but brooks aren't that expensive for the comfort...you'll easily spend more on anything else, unless you go used.
    otherwise i'd go with fizik arione or selle italia/san marco

    River city will at least let you mount one up and sit on it before you buy...

    They actually let me ride several different saddles for days at a time I bought a Flyte TT for the Tesch, then wanted to try something else. They just let me "rent" other ones. Once I desided on one, I just paid the difference between my 1st buy and my final one

    I try to avoid leather regardless of if it's new or used. I do make an exception for things that are gifted to me from family members and stuff...I admit to owning a couple of pairs of heels that are made from leather that my grandma bought me.

    my grandma bought me some heels too but after highschool i wasn't really trying to fuck with it but didn't have the heart to tell her.

    Hmmm.. I think I am going to pick up an Arione. Does Rivercity have some sort of demo program for saddles? I hate not buying from the local bike shop but am considering picking it up from REI so I can return it if it doesn't work out.

    I like my Aliante more than my Airone.
    Go talk to RCB, I think they are pretty good about letting you try stuff before buying it.

    Im thinking about selling my Airone. But I want to try some diff saddles out first. It just doesnt fit me as well as I hoped.
    Wanna try a Selle Anatomica, and maybe a Selle Italia or two. If nothing else Ill get another Fizik Aliante.

    When I bought my saddle from River City they said I could test it out for a week...you just have to put electrical tape on it to prevent scratches from the seatpost. But yeah, you can return it after a week of use if it isn't your jam.

    I like the alliante to. seems like the main difference is that the alliante forces you into 1 position where the arione lets you sit in multiple positions.

    That is the theory. But I still feel less comfortable after any amount of time on it. Some people swear by the saddle though.

    after trying many, many joints, the turbo is the best for my sit bone shape. If you have a super sexy ass, and are super muscle-y like me you may want to try the turbo. white, black and sometimes yellow.

    I agree, Turbo equals best saddle ever, I use a yellow one and I traded walter white for black

    The SLR Gel Flow is not a comfortable saddle for me. It's so soft and flexy - it digs into your taint. Get the regular SLR. For some reason the SLK Gel Flow comes in two gel flow varieties, one that is soft like the SLR Gel Flow and another (mine) which is firmer in the padding.

    guys next to me on the naked bike ride who called me out for wearing panties! they said the friction excuse was moot as their chodes were getting some grinding action, I may or may not have flipped out and asked to see their chodes b/c I didn't believe it was even possible to have one

    (I think calling the taint the chode is a midwestern thing)
