yeah, i dont think theres a waiting list anymore. i dont really want an aerospoke so prob not.
just bringing it up, i can see how much a spinergy or a hed3 would be from the dude I go through if you want.
"Due to the very high sales volume of the last year, we cannot keep up with demand for product. We have added resources to address this, but wheel production is still a very time-consuming and labor-intensive task. Even though our online store indicates there is no product in stock, we are still taking orders and making wheels daily. Please call or email us for the most current delivery estimate."
from the site hahaha.
they have said that for awhile now. yeah if you could check for me taht would be sweet. spinergy, hed3 or specialized trispoke would be sweet!
jerome, i don't think you can run that thing as a front or as a track rear. it has a freehub. also, i'd steer clear of spinergy.
check this out: http://pardo.net/bike/pic/fail-020/index.html
WTB:
53cm complete. something beautiful. either an older italian pista built up with a campy groupo and cinelli cockpit components.
or an njs build. something with a full group.
or justa frame/fork.
-scottie.
cash in hand!
thanks delicious. i just read that stuff in bffgss and that pretty much convinced me not to drop any money on those wheels. if i go and see the spin wheel this weekend how would i be able to tell if i could convert it into a front? thanks.

the only way you could run that as a front would be if you could find an old spin front axle and swap it out. which would be...very hard.

only a spin huh. my friend did the same thing with a specialized tri spoke, is this different? he just said that he got an axle conversian kit or something.

i'm not 100% positive on this, but i'm pretty sure it'd have to be something from spin. a really knowledgeable shop might be able to figure something out.
also, the surly fixxer might work on it if you wanted to run it as a rear, though it's just for shimano freehubs. depends on what kind of hubs the spins use i guess.
naw, front only. when i go to work tomorrow ill talk to the dudes i work with to see if it works. dude still hasnt emailed me back or calledme. i hate craigslist sometimes.
jeezy, are you talking about the 3 spoke spin from the guy in NE, he also has a mavic IO, a de salvo Ti track frame and a makino NJS frame? those spins use a freehub and cant be converted, plus that wheel is old and janky, he wants way too much for it. You could use the surly 11.0 "fixxer" but the spacing would be wrong for a track frame....
just stick with regular spoked wheels ...unless your lance armstrong the only reason is looks....too many downsides...
can't true it, thief magnet, crosswinds f you up, they don't bend they explode...etc...
just get some nice deep vees with phils more wheel than most people will ever need
i offered him 175 for it, no response. ill stick with what ive got now. if i happen upon a good deal i might snag it though.
dude has had it up forever. months and months.
that NJS frame he had the green one finally sold on ebay for like 500 a few months ago. what after being up on CL for like a year.
and he'll never sell that mavic haha.
yerah never for 2000. i dont think im going to get that spin cause white folks says it cant be turned into a front. but check with your dude abut those wheels.
putting some feelers out there for a frame in the 50-52cm range (or complete), something on a rough budget of 100-250 for a frame or 300-500 complete.
or, you know, something in-between frame only and complete.
that dude is actually a pretty nice guy, justa sad story, degenerative shoulder or something. Thats not gonna sell them bike parts at that price though.
that mavic io is hella sick tho
black threaded stem (do they make these?) i have lots of paypal cash!
get a chris king gripnut
stem, not headset. and i dont need one anymore, im going threadless
any kind of bike repair stand.
that would r00l
I just picked up a bunch of parts from this guy for 60 bucks, included some amazing (to me) superbe pro pedal bodies.
I need the superbe pro track cages. If anyone nows anyone or anywhere who is selling, gimme a shout. I've got money to spend (to an extent) and parts to trade.
I guess email would be best:
k.murphy44@yahoo.com
a decent fixed wheelset, silver. got something classy I'm trying to finish up.
I WTB one of those mudguard-type rear fenders. Thought I'd check here before heading to a shop.
cinelli vigorelli 49cm
:]
he can get the hed3 new which is like 6bills or the aerospoke.
there's also a bike on c-list with double aerospokes check it out i put it up in the ebay/craigslist section.
an ortlieb super pro backpack.
drooll...
53cm Kilo TT
I need a u-Lock. I figure I've been pressing my luck with this padlock and cable (which may or may not contain metal) for long enough.
Also:
50-52cm frame perhaps?
Bar tape and new tires for my roadie (i think 700x23)
dude, your using a cable? A toothless methhead from hesham could gnaw thru one of those.
As least drop $10 on the bell brand u-lock at fred meyers. It only has 4 tumblers to Kryptonites seven but its not a round "bic-able" type lock and it'll sure be a ton better than a cable...
man your nuts!!!
Haha, "nuts" in this instance is a combination of initial ignorance, ongoing laziness, and general good luck to avoid anyone who carries a moderately sharp object and has a desire to steal my bike.
WTB:::::
I need a BB cartridge with good chainring clearance. (It's for a mountain bike / fixed conv)
Also need an inexspensive fixed hub.....wider the better...
chrome "ivan" medium sized roll-top backpack.
don't really care..just not brown or camo....
bike work stand
i keep missing them on cl...

If I find some B123's, I'd be willing to get rid of my b125's. Therr steel. No alum BS.
54cm samson. possibly another njs builder.
or an 80's italian bike with campy components.
^-- Scouring ebay is your best bet.
I once found a 58cm sparkle red Samson that I was really really dumb and did not buy. But I was feeling real poor after xmas.
ok all i need is a 27.2mm seatpost and a saddle and i can put my bike together...anyone anyone? must be black.
I have a black Kalloy, and a not-too-bad-looking selle saddle that can be yours for the price of a six-pack (or three tall boys) of Tecate.
Or, you can just borrow them until you get something better.
Risers anyone? 24.5mm to 26mm

yeah. i've been on ebay/craigslist (crazedlist.org) religiously for like the last 3 months. a samson came up, olive green, and i was the highest bidder but reserve wasn't met. i messaged the guy a few times but to no avail.
a work stand
and a truing stand.
or if anyone has a truing stand i can use for a few minutes, i'll buy you a beer or two.
Thats all I need to. But I have to get the frame powder coated before I can put it together.
Weltall82, come to the wrench night next Tuesday, should be a truing stand there.
ok! pretty rad. i'll be there.
bailey works, medium, royal blue
your turbo saddle in decent shape. it's time to retire mine.
