I'm posting this in the want to buy thread, too, but thought I'd put it out there...
I'm in the market for a fixed wheelset. 700c. Nothing fancy, although whatever works really. Flip flop hub is fine. It's for the bike my friend is building. I'm looking to buy them today.
if your homie really wants to save dough, but the hubs and rims and I'll lace 'em up
white folks:if your homie really wants to save dough, but the hubs and rims and I'll lace 'em up
We have a ride at like 6:00 PM today, and I just want to get a pair of wheels on this bike ASAP. But thanks for the offer! I may have to take you up on that for my wheels, actually. Anyone know someone other than Phil Wood that makes purple track hubs?
Profile makes purple hubs.
baravettski:Profile makes purple hubs.
Yeah, they're pretty pricey, too, though. Boo.
regular old Phil woods and a Purple anodizer :)

I think Formula might make them, I have seen red / blue / white and green painted formula's not sure of teh distributor, perhaps jnb.
59 cm surly steamroller frame + fork + headset + original receipt, diaper gravy brown, never built up, intact paint on fork ends and bottom bracket faces, grease-free bb threads, black 1 inch threaded specialized headset installed. $300 firm. stop by a ubank on the way over.
i also have a 61 cm chrome 2004 bianchi pista that i'll be selling once i get the drivetrain installed (if i can find it). unless you prefer pieces or f/f/hs/wheels or some other mix. a few scrapes, no dents, straight, intact lawyer lips, reflective tape in a few spots. price will be something below the infamous pistadex. lemme know if you're interested.
double post

Haha, kidding. Love youuu.
Ok, so I've already got some interest on my other parts for sale...
But here's another item (paging all track racers)...
I just got a 110.5 ISO Phil Wood bottom bracket with steel English cups. But here's the deal, it was special ordered to be shipped with Phil's new, special super low drag bearings. These are easily as smooth as looseball, sealed, and lubed with oil instead of grease. There's a silver steel non-contact shield and they spin waaay smoother than the standard red-seal Phil BB's. I've decided I'm pretty set on getting some Truvativ Omnium cranks for the track instead of using my current Sugino 75's, so this bottom bracket has got to go (the Truvativ uses a completely different style BB). It's new in box, never installed, with the cups. If no one bites I'm gonna do it up on ebay...
* P.S. clarification, this BB will work ALL NJS cranks (because they're all ISO or close to it, including Sugino 75, Dura Ace 7600's, etc.), Campy cranks, I believe Miche cranks as well. And it is respaceable +/-5mm so you can get the perfect chainline everytime.
** P.P.S. I have no idea how durable these are on the street because they're a fairly new addition to the Phil lineup and I haven't heard any firsthand accounts from anyone else, but they are supposed to be super legit for the track.
If anyone's interested we can discuss prices, I'm willing to do them for under what they retail for on Phil's website but not too much lower, because they are brand spankin new!
P.P.P.S. SORRY ABOUT TYPING UP A FUCKING MANUSCRIPT HERE GUYS!
white folks:hey, jerome you still got your leader frame? I know someone who wants 2 buy it.

oh i was asking zacp where los gorditos is. i used to eat ole ole all the time for off campus lunch at central, that and the belmont stumptown were my two favorite places... except for those fridays when we'd trek it downtown to voodoo donuts/downtown stumptown for lunch haha.
and yeah, i don't write graff anymore but i'll take what you got for donations sake if no one else bites...
haha, yeah. i love that place. delish. the veg nachos are super good too.
oh, los gorditos is far. its worth it though. its a cart on 50th n division. I don't get over there very often, but i try and stock up when i do. one for now, two for later.
