just to let you know, I aint down with playing the outbid your buddy game. bidding is for e-bay. it's my OPINION that what your doing is kinda distasteful, so i respectfully withdraw my offer of $40 for the nitto bars and the campy BB. not dissing your thing, just not my style so count me out. good luck.

I agree. It is very used car salesman and unprofessional, imho. If something is for sale, put a price on it.
yah it is kinda effed. and not cool. especially on here
btw that link dont work
he's just having a difficult time figuring a fair price for a few items, but some of the other stuff the frames/bars those things have a real obvious set value.
I would like to say I emailed the email address and got the same thing. "Your offer is too low."
Then tell us what you fucking want.
"Make an offer" = "Not really wanting to sell"
Couple of things popped up on CL with prices set.
yah i offered him just under what he's asking for for the trispoke, and got nothing back.
and now it's on craigslist.
2000 for the concept
all i have to say to that is good luck.
My two cents:
Selling something and saying "make an offer" is cool when you don't really know what an actual fair asking price is. Selling 20 items and asking for offers on all of them is a lame scheme, especially like Doug said when some used items have really clear cut values like those bars. I know you guys want to make your money and all that but making some pseudo-auction thing is pretty sketchy from a buyer's perspective when it's not in a controlled environment like eBay. I know how selling shit goes, you can't always just hook up a friend and sometimes you need to make some decent money off what you're selling to pay the bills or whatever but.... How is anyone supposed to know whether any of the offers you made are being made by real people or if you're "padding" a couple bucks on top of what someone offered to coerce someone else into paying more? Just look at it as if you were trying to buy the stuff you're peddling.
I am selling my 2007 Pista Concept, its dented, frame is NOT bent, and it is still ridable. I took some of the paint off near the dent, to see if the aluminum was cracked. Definitely isn't cracked.
Can anyone offer me 250 or more? Some one is coming from Salem to check it out tomorrow, but if someone from Portland wants to offer me the same or better, I will pawn it off to you. Serious offers only please. If I am going to sell it, I need to take it apart, so I really don't want to take it apart and then have to put it back together.
pictures of the bike and dent can be viewed here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/28671198@N05/

yea, i hate this system.
for what it's worth, i "bid" 120 for the RD set, 40 for the GP set. just putting that out there.
(maybe this "auction" will go under the radar and i'll get a steal? oh wait...)
also - anyone know the bcd on stock kilo cranks?
i bid 100 on that trispoke.
toa3t:also - anyone know the bcd on stock kilo cranks?
144 i "think." Pretty sure.
see, we can make it into a legit auction...
100.01 for the trispoke!
toa3t:also - anyone know the bcd on stock kilo cranks?
take it to the bike shop or look up the cranks online. is it the truvitiv touro or whatever?
it's all about weird bids like 167.84 cents. catches the other people off guard, they bid some regular number like 165 and don't understand how they're not top bidder...
yep tour-o.
looks like 130 (just from biekforums)
stumptown:it's all about weird bids like 167.84 cents. catches the other people off guard, they bid some regular number like 165 and don't understand how they're not top bidder...
in that case, 106.66 for the trispoke
some people are saying its 110 bcd. check at the bike shop imo
111.67
FACT: stock kilo TT crank BCD is 130
all a bunch of bullshit thats all i can say, real lame.
we're all in agreement here doug.
hey jen arent those the radderday dudes? why are they selling all their bikes? is there a new fad im unaware of?
extreme cowtipping
alex and i were just talking about that haha. i guess so.
i wonder what it is!

Thanks for the laughs.
ok were all just mad at the point you tell us to make an offer,
then for example when i made my offer i didn't hear back even when i
said i'd work with you on a price, and my 'bid' wasn't that far off.
then putting up everyones bids like that, this isn't ebay. it's not that hard to
whisper back someone and say yay or nay on whatever their bid was.
then not to mention you do price everything out after the fact and put it on craigslist.
close to the prices people were offering. and not getting back to them.
make offers, don't reply, then price and craigslist it all is shistey.
i know when others post on here first they do it so that it's like a first come first serve before
it gets put up on ebay or craigslist for the masses. and that this forum and people on it are treating
each other as if in a community.
sorry for the word exchanges and what not but don't try and play us all. it went from people wanting to buy all of it,
to no one wanting anything.
that tri spoke is a mountain bike wheel. lawls
so that you can do barspinz on the singletarck, lulz.
is that really a mtb wheel? so pink...
take bids on pdxfixed,
average out bids,
add on 20%
post on craigs for price is firm! REAL TALK!!!!1!!
sounds like a perfect method what is wrong with that?
=/ lets do it!
of course who am i to talk, i have a coasterbrake. =)
now i feel bad for putting up those last few things i was selling without prices.
i was basically just being lazy
no there's a difference, delicious you were fine.

Did you see this? I'd give 800 and a nut for that one. But I don't have the 800.
Think they'll take two nuts?
im pretty sure he got that through river city.
and those framesets only cost something like 550 dollars.
yes, but they have since been discontinued
buy olaf's the dent looks bad but its not deadly Im gonna make and offer to him when i see him
69totally69:yes, but they have since been discontinued
says who?
that was the concern last year when they put that "D2 pista alu" on their european website, and then the '08 concepts came rolling back out.
i don't think they're discontinued as much as they only make so many per year
FOR THE SALE
silver deep v wheel set
laced to silver formula hubs
the hubs are a few years old therefor are a bit weathered. they need a little loving but work well considering.
the rims (unmachined) have no break wear but do have some generic wear and a few insignificant scratches.
so anyways, i want 120 for them. that could include a lock ring for your cog.
whisper me
$120.oo
I am the one with the Concept for sale. It was supposedly the last 55cm concept that river city could get
their hands on. It will be going on e-bay soon. I really just have no use for it as of now.
why did you buy it then?
Ta sling it like a pan cake pan cake pan cake pan cake pan c
cause fixd gearz r old newz, lolz!
Fixed gears are old news! no, this is no fixed gear its a track bike.
I didn't buy it, I had an 04, it cracked this is the new one. any ways I have another bike
that I would rather ride around town, I don't have time for track and I was going
to sell the O4 any way. you know.
For Sale: Surly Steamroller 59 $525
I am selling a Charcoal colored Surly Steamroller size 59 that has very little use, the color is last years color before the maroon of this year. I am selling it as a complete bike with Surly rear hub and Shimano 105 front hub laced to Mavic MA3 rims. The drive train is a Sugino crankset and Surly cog. The saddle is a WTB pure V, and the headset is a Cane Creek S-3. Nitto dropbars, mustache bars or profile tt bars. I am selling the bike because it gets little use and its time for it to have a good home where it will be used.
