Two sets of XXL MKS clips - $10 each

    Hey man, you mean XLL?
And I may want a set.

  3.

oh yeah, I think they actually say 'LL' on them. I made up XXL. And sure thing, when you back?

  4.

I think it mean "large long" which is right up my alley.

Not until next week probably. But I got the steamroller waiting at Veloshop and doubt the stock clips are worth trying to ride.

  5.

Right-o, holler when you get back, I'll save a set for ya.

The place is alright but a little out of the way, better off sticking with Bike Central / Veloshop if you're downtown because 21st Ave. doesn't have a whole lot more to offer that isn't already covered by those two. Unless you want to get your hands dirty with some Mavic Ksyrium SL3's thrown on a carbon road bike...

I almost guarantee that Bridgestone was in an accident and that is why it has a black fork.

Honestly it would be a good short commuter/grocery getter. But in my book its not worth $350. I bought a '91 RB-2 in hella good condition for a little less than $350 (not including s&h).

probably a good idea to check where the downtube / top tube meet the head tube. but yeah, it's not hard to crash a bike, bend the fork and have the rest of the frame be fine as well.

  18.

seems like a good deal for the shorties, but non matching fork almost always means front-ender/bent frame,

PS what wrong with assembling bikes in yer basement? should I build my CL flips in my front room? or at CCC? would that be more legit? I have all the tools and skills they do, plus more patience and the people buying from me know they are welcome to come back for a refund if they are bummed. I just hope thast not some sort of dig at guys like me.
