how about it. I guess I'll start.

    I'm Jenn.
I'm a part of the Fix without Dix
I had the pink and teal small conversion with the my little ponies, until some broad hit me last month.

anyways. posts should be made able to put in HTML codes and such and preview posts, so people can put their rides and flyers up and such.

woo hoo here's my old ride.

    and me.

Kyle here. At 40, I'm likely older than most of you, but probably not all. I ride primarily for the exercise, the fun, the beer, and because within Portland proper, its way better than driving. I rode a geared MTB for many years around the city, but never enjoyed it as much as I do the fixed gear bike. After only 2 years riding fixed, I'm in better shape and a far stronger cyclist than I ever was in my 30s.

    I ride two bikes --

    NIshiki Conversion (Niki):

    Marinoni Track (Mary):

You will often find one of them locked up (or inside) places with good beer in SE (lab, dragon, etc....)

    Whadup Ya'lls

    -I'm Jose

    -I'm 26

-My amazing wife bought me my new Bianchi San Jose for X-mas. For which, I use to commute everyday & I'll be racing cyclocross again next season. I was also thinking about hitting up a few single track events this season.

-I used to ride around on my 1983 Bianchi Allero that I converted to fixie last summer. This whip was posted on FGG last year.

-I have no solid ties to any crews. I help out a lot with Shift & BTA events. (A lot more a few years ago than these days since we have a new little addition to the family). & I'm always into checking out the different bikey events that this great town hosts.

-I try to go out on rides with a few of the crews throughout town. hehehe even up the Zoo & other West hills.

-I'm hoping to do STP this year fixed. (it will be my first time riding STP) & I'm hoping to get out to Horning's for the Horning's Hustle.

-I live in the Tabor area and so I try to get up there for the Tabor series when I can.

-When I'm not riding, I'm slaving away for the corporate world in a cube. When I'm not doing one of those two things, I'm Snowboarding, DJing, & Loving on my family (in no particular order, hehehe).

uhmmm I think that pretty much wraps up the whole bio. hehehe Oh yeah & I'm an Aries.

Hey, I'm Mark. I have a variety of bikes, a fixed gear just being one, but probably my favorite to ride. It's a perfect starter fixie, the ubiquitous Bianchi Pista. I don't care if it's "cliche" or whatever, it was cheap ($350 from a friend who got it a year ago and almost never rode it) and got me into something that I haven't enjoyed as much since I picked up a skateboard over 20 years ago. I wouldn't mind getting another, something to build up as that's my favorite way to do it, piece by piece.

SkidMark. Do I need an introduction? I have a KHS Aerotrack, the one with the curved seat tube. It is not for sale. It recently got some Deep-V's, laced 4x rear, 2x front. I have 2 tallbikes, one has a steering wheel, one is fixed gear. I have a singlespeed/fixed MTB too. Actually all my bikes are singlespeed, either fixed, freewheel (BMX), or coasterbrake. I am one year older than than the guy who thinks he is older than everyone else. I am a member of DROPOUT Bicycle Club. Oh, and I can be a real dick, you just have to get to know me. Here is a link to most of my bikes:

I design web sites during the day and hang out in SE at night. On Saturdays I ride with Portland Velo.

I'm looking at getting into bike racing this year. Right now I'm planning on doing mt. tabor series fixed, short track singlespeed, cyclocross, and some single speed mountain biking. I want to do some track racing but I don't think I'll have money for a track bike this year.

Here is my Bianchi San Jose. It has some sort of weird 50's British racing thing going on. It's a fun bike, can fit huge tires and hit single track but still fast enough to keep up with roadies.

  12.

jenn, that's about the cutest bike i've ever seen. that's what it would look like if Sanrio made a fixie. that Panasonic up there is siiiick! I have one of the ubiquitous chrome Pistas, a single speed Peugeot 80's mountain bike (lugged) a sweet '66 Schwinn Collegiate, and a single speed Raleigh Super Course with aluminum hammered fenders, which I'll probably add a fixed cog to and do it up flip flop stylee. I'll add some pics sometime. I've been wanting to get a new frame (or used if I find the right thing) for another fixed. the Bianchi was my first, and while I like it, I would like to get something a little less flashy. Anyone interested in a really nice chrome Pista? less than 500 miles.

    I'm Max, 27.
I ride a beater old Raleigh frame with a cheap makeshift wheel setup. (Will post photo later)
I'm an artist and don't make enough money to own a nicer bike. But I'm saving. haha.

You've probably seen me riding around SE at some point. I jet around town all day for meetings and errands. You might have also seen me at goodwill off grand as I go there every stupid day. (Maybe why I'm so poor)
