I like Pauli D for his hair. Its the weirdest thing I have seen.
that surly is fucking ridiculous
Okay, so the final episode totally blew (minus shnickers dancing on the boardwalk and making out with the situation) (oh, and j-woww creaming herself over the juicehead goriallas), but a few of those brawling episodes were AMAZING! Changed my life, man.
i found juicehead gorillas quite funny.
toddistic:cuz this is like a fixie website for people who are into the fixie scene with their fixie bikes.
people who are into the fixie scene. Could'nt have said in any better myself.
What's up everybody? I'm Ryan and I've been lurking around on here for the past few months so I decided to make myself an account. I ride my bike because it is fun. I ride by myself because I don't have any friends that ride. I just got a new bike after about 10 years of not having one. I bought it from BikesDirect, it is a Motobecane Track. To be completely honest I don't really know shit about it but it seemed like a good price for an entry level bike. I changed the bars and put a front brake on it. I also put a freewheel on it until I feel more comfortable/safe riding fixed. The pedals are garbage, suggestions? After that I will probably get some cranks and change things as my budget allows. I'm mainly on here looking for advice and parts. I skateboard a lot, enjoy beer, and work for Red Bull.
Shit, sorry about the picture size.
just put on the fixed cog and you'll be safe enough with a front brake. then you can venture to a rebel universe of NO BRAKEZ....unless you like coasting, and if you feel safer with it i guess...
hook up the red-bull
Thanks, I'll go check out Veloce. I've been going to Revolver over on Interstate. The guys in there are helpful but the selection seems limited. I've noticed that some serious shit talking goes down on here!
Bryan, I've got the fixed cog on there, it's a flip flop. I'm not partial to coasting it's just that I'm trying not to kill myself in my first couple months back riding! I've messed around with the fixed in parking lots and stuff, just a matter of time. Let me know if you guys get together for rides and stuff, I can always hook up the Red Bull. Just need a day or two notice.
haha cool
mks sylvans are pretty much the standard for an affordable track pedal.
because god knows he needs track pedals
red bull cola. i want some.
Yea, probably don't need track pedals. Just something simple and basic.
I can hook up the cola Jeezy, like I said just let me know when you guys have a ride or a get together and I'll make it happen.

MKS touring pedals.
Red Bull is already sponsoring the blam.
seriously though a beer sponsor would be the raddest thing ever
Cool, we were all talking about it last week. They must have made a move to sponsor it. I will most likely be at both events, maybe I'll meet some of you people in person there!
And thanks for all the tips on peddles.

Hello everyone. Name is Hourt and from So. Cal. I'll be visiting often as my gf goes to PSU. I ride a boring fuji track, don't have any pictures of it really. Putting together a bike for my gf and i'll bring mine up so hopefully we will catch some rides with everyone.

its a 42 cannondale i bought off craigslist for $50. going to be set up as a freewheel, still need to get some more goodies for it. its a tiny bike.
Dual brakes. Also welcome duder. I'm Kevin.
..campy cranks?
Ther r no ttires on yr biek
when i bought it, it came with suntour superbe pro cranks and headset. no tires = less rolling resistant right?
is your girlfriend a dwarf?
haha shes 4'11". the bike has a stand over at 27" if i remember right
ill buy those suntour cranks. if there track.
hey everyone my name is Ben, I live in shitty San Diego right now but i'm moving to Portland by the summer i hope. just thought I'd introduce myself and check out the board, see if i can get some tips on good wet riding gear. seems like a fun place to ride from what i saw when i was up there last summer unfortunately i didn't have my bike with me
Heres my ride nothing special and its too small so it looks goofy but can't complain too much about a free frame

i dont have a picture of myself or at least one i wanna use so that will have to wait
punctuate much?
Yo, this isn't school, ese.
Welcome, Ben. Fenders and simple rain gear should serve you well.
