I own a car and I hate driving it (its fairly nice too). But I am fearful to let it go. Its such a connivence and a crutch.

i'm not paranoid of being in a car if i'm the one driving.
i've "owned" 7 cars (the last one was 9 years ago) and i've never had a license.

same...if I am in control i feel a bit better.

    zoobomb confession.

when I lived at the portland towers (21st/salmon) where the zoobombers blow through the stops signs, I would throw water balloons at them from my 10th floor window. they were loud and i was annoyed, what?

    awesome

I often take the bus, with my bike, up vista to get to my house, but not today, I rode + it was awesome
I also like driving and wish I could drive a stick because it would be so much more fun

i confess that this forum has digressed to a lower level than a yahoo chat room

that been said, i also have a problem maintaining my optimism for the so called "fixed" culture, affectionately referred to as the fixies, yet i feel that i inevitably fall close if not in to this group of people just by age and association.

    fuck. confession.

And perhaps you fall in to this group of people because you also...RIDE A FIXED GEAR BIKE?
I hate to be a douche but you need to be called on that, you're bummed about being grouped into a culture when you yourself have chosen to ride a fixed gear bike, therefore automatically grouping yourself into the culture? If this 'yahoo chat room' forum is any indication, age and association have nothing to do with it. I have never met a single person who posts on here and the vast differences in age have been touted before.
    I don't get it man.

both, i worked at a super fancy ass ranch that was all dressage/hunter jumper. had the huge indoor arena etc. i would be the one that got the horses prepped making their manes and tails look all pretty in those fancy braided knots with ribbon and what not, and i was the person that was there at 6 am to feed all those damn horses haha. that ranch looked down on western as being sloppy.

then the other ranches were all western, it was vegas after all.

Once I saw her bike parked in front of a store and I went in there looking for her. She took me out to lunch just to get me to leave her alone. So you could say she encourages my bad behavior, or she enjoys the attention.
