    My favorite route is to go from downtown up Terwilliger and do a loop around Council Crest. From there I go up to Skyline and ride that to Thompson road. Thompson takes me into NW and then I go on that unmarked road off of Burnside up to the zoo through Washington Park. I take Skyline back to Council Crest and come down Dosch road back to my house in SW. I have on idea how long this is... 25-30 miles probably...

    thompson is fun! there is a short "after work" ride I sometimes do that goes up lovejoy/cornell then goes up thompson and down germantown to hwy 30. you can also extend this ride to 40 miles if you keep going down skyline straight instead of right at germantown then take a right on ridge road(i think it's ridge road). and down to hwy 30.

    Alex and crossett, you guys up for a Saturday west hills ride? I love those hills. Crossett's ride sounds perfect. I was planning on a solo century but i'd love company.

    yeah it is, I think it'd be easy to meet in the grass in front of the library which is on the west side of the blocks if you're going south, stairs in front with some ledges, many bike racks. I'll be there a little early probably.
