    Anybody got hot Saturday plans? I'm coming to town Friday night and hanging out for the weekend house/job shopping then racing at Alpenrose on Sunday. Anybody got a bike my friend Alex can borrow? He is without a frame currently...

    Let's ride Friday night and/or Saturday anytime!! Long rides around town would be good, so I can look into more jobs and houses!!!

    I wanna ride instead of drive to cyclocross this weekend so does anyone wanna come on a.....

    Group bike ride to Oregon Manifest Cyclocross in Wilsonville?

    So as you all know this weekend is the fabulous Oregon Manifest (you do know about the OREGON MANIFEST, don't you?)

    Anyway, it all happens with in spitting distance of the Willamette River. Even the cyclocross race on sunday. It just so happens that it is also spitting distance from effin CALIFORNIA all the way down in Wilsonville!

    Who wants to do a slow group ride there on Sunday morning? I've never been there but it is about 28 miles from the esplanade one-way. Here's a tentative route I've mapped, but feel free to suggest better ones. Who's with me?! Let's show those fancypants "racers" that you don't have to drive to the race. Even if it is in California! Oh, and I'll be on my tallbike, so I mean s-l-o-w.

    seattle dung (yung) was back in town for cutty cat and there's another alpenrose ride in the works. i dont know when exactly, nor am i the one making the decisions, but it's probably happenign early afteroonish

    I'm a be lame and skip the 56 mile ride to Villebois for the Cross Crusade Manifest Hypeshit.
    I'm going to spend some time with my pregnant wife, my stepdaughter, and my mother.
    Might get waffles.
    I will take a long spin on the Springwater sometime in the early afternoon if anyone is down.
    Call me if you're interested, 'cause I won't be back on here until after dark.

    I'm going to be in town on either the 14th or 21st. Hopefully the 14th.

    I'd love it if a bunch of you would like to get together and go for a ride.
    I've never been to the city during day time before so it would be awesome to have tour guides!

    alone riding is the pitts for sure.
    Will you have some kind of roaming plan / calling card? ( note: it will cost us extra money to call your cellphone )

    bring some rain gear. the weather's been terrible lately.

    3 cents a minute? that is lucky.
    its like 25 cents a minute for me to call the states from canada... and even more when i am down there... i think its something like 90 cents + roaming.

    my cellphone bill from the week i was on tour had 500$ of roaming fees alone.
    i'm going to see about putting on a temp plan for the visit.

    if not i'll have a calling card hopefully!

    i was going to get a pay as you go phone with a washington number because i go down there sometimes for weeks at a time...
    i'll know closer to the date!

    and... i live in rain city! of course i'll bring rain gear... i ride in the rain almost daily.
