art attack! I like it...that thing came out beauty...
what are you shooting with? The photos came out really nice.
I must say, MIN, that's pretty classy. Great photography, too; black borders are a must.
i lyke those forkz
THANKS DUDES. Canon XTi with Tokina 17-50mm F/2.8 and Canon 50mm F/1.4
I like the colors in canon way better than what nikon produces. I have a d70...it works but I'm not into it that much.
This is a great looking (and riding) bike. I'm surprised I don't see them around more often.
This is the 06 Fillmore with carbon fork and True Temper OX Platinum tubing. It is made in Waterloo, Wi. From 07 on, the specs changed to generic cro-mo and a steel fork with weaker components. 07- 08 Fillmores are made in Taiwan.
I rode 50 miles on it on Sunday over the West Hills. It climbs better than my Poprad and handles less skittishly on the road as compared to my Pista. The Brooks saddle is the prototype Imperial model that I am testing out and relaying feedback to Brooks for.
the 06 also has tighter "track" geometry then the 07 and 08
is that a mutant stem?
Awesome man.
That saddle must be recognized for its greatness. Its like a hybrid between brooks and selle anatomica (I really wanna try one of those). That frame is dope as well. The bell is a nice touch.

yetti_core:is that a mutant stem?
The Brooks is rad. It's starting to develop butt dimples as I break it in. It's a saddle that you don't realize is there. I hit over 185 RPM on Sunday doing down a hill and it did not get in the way - despite it's visual heft. The contact "footprint" is no bigger than my racing saddles. (This is the narrow version.)
yetti_core: yes it's a 12cm 3T Mutant. Very heavy but graceful and functional.
yeah for a while I thought the mutants were ugly but I am really into them now...especially on your bike. It meshes surprisingly well with your black parts
Thanks dude, I have no-rise Nitto Promenades on order from Bencycle. My bike's going retro porteur style.

Really, like quite like the colors from my D40.
In regards to color, there isn't a huge difference between Canon and Nikon. They all use the same chip made by Sony and their own proprietary image processing algorithms. The lens selection will make the biggest difference, as will the white balance adjustment.
The algorithm can also cause more change than one may think.
Some process RGB, others RGBG
nitto promenade. its took 3 hours to tape with cloth and then double-stitch sew. note the top tube protector. it's a labor of love.

Classy. Stitching looks great, throw a close up of that TT protector if you can.
I'm really into that.
baravettski:Classy. Stitching looks great, throw a close up of that TT protector if you can.
Sure I'll take some tonight. On both the grip and the top tube protector, I took a 1/3 inch and folded it under the first layer for aesthetics and durability. The leather is elkhide.
The stitching was gnarly - two simultaneous needles, baseball mitt-style double-stitch.
Nice work man.
Are those brass bar ends to match the bell?
Its coming along. You have plans for the cranks?
grimm:Nice work man.

The bar end is a wine cork. Shiraz 2005, for the win. ;)
Cranks will be powdercoated black to remove the logos. I thought about getting fancy ones but I can't justify the expense and these are pretty light, stiff and have external bottom-bracket bearings...
Nice.
Im loving it regardless. Makes me want to build one for a commuting and errands.
damn, thats CLEEEN!
