i know the economy sucks buuuuut, i just moved here from chicago (jobs hunt sucks there more i think) and need a job, so if anyone knows of anything around i'd appreciate the help.

find a shitty job. having a job seems to boost your chances of getting one. i got a shitty min wage job and had 3 interviews scheduled in my 2nd week, quit after 3 weeks after securing a new job.. after months of looking for something decent and like 10+ interviews.

The 205 Home Depot was hiring a couple months ago. Maybe they still are. That actually wouldn't be too bad of a place to work. I fucking love going to Home Depot.

if you do the materials job then you work 4 days a week 10 hours days. that means 3 day weekends all the time.

i tried for the chris king position...man, that would be a dream job... i called and checked on my resume 2 or 3 times, no one ever called back..bummer, i would have fit in good there....i like bisickles

edit: Job hunting is tough. I have been looking for a job turning wrenches now for over 3 months. No luck!
It's all who you know and who you blow. Unfortunately, I don't know many people in the industry. I have been doing a lot of wrench turning on the side(out of my living room). But it's still not the same as being in a shop. Boohoo.... end blog

I didn't ubi but I did Barnettes bicycle institute in colorado and it is still hard getting a mechanic job. You are roght, most good shops you need and in.
