would you mail me that fizik light? that shit work>
yeah it works. do you think i could just use a regu.ar envelope?
Does the sugino 68 bb fit sugino 75 crank arms? I was talking to a guy at city bikes yesterday and he said that if you don't use the right bb for the 75's that you can mess them up pretty bad.
skinnyeyez:Does the sugino 68 bb fit sugino 75 crank arms?
yes
Well I'm using just a basic shimano bb on my 75's, do you guys think I'm gonna fuck up my crank arms?
Yung Jeez - Do you still have that bottom bracket?
no. ISO / JIS taper difference is very small, sugino 75 works fine with either. you wont round off your bb spindle or anything. the only thing you might fuck up is your chainline if you have the wrong spindle length.
Awesome, thanks. Cancel that yung jeezy, guess I don't need one.

there is definitely some disagreement on this issue. some people say that repeated mounting / unmounting of a mis-matched taper will deform the cranks. probably not an issue if your shimano bb is sealed (reducing the amount of maintenance)

advice of the century, don't listen to anyone on the internet about what will/won't work. Some people are spot on right, some people are dead wrong. Go to a shop and ask. If they are wrong, you can find them and shove the BB up their ass.
Well it's just nice to have the insight, really...

I'm not lecturing you buddy. Please don't read me like that. Alls I'm saying is that for every dude who has proper training and experience there are about 1000 who read Sheldon Brown and Lennard Zinn and think they have all the low-down. It's just not the case. Sheldon Brown may have gone his whole life without some risky setup failing. That don't mean it won't fail otherwise.
shops have told me wrong things more often than sheldon brown. you're right about the liability deal though.
yeah, i love citybikes most of the time, but they're not the most reliable source of information
