What no scraper bike?
Hah.
Nah, I hope you get one of those. I was kind of impressed with what was on CL last night, yet depressed that I had no money for any of it.
I wish the Land Shark wasn't too big for me, because I'd be all over that. Damn.

They produced more but almost none have actually made it here, they've had some pretty major problems getting them made and shipped. It is definitely more than 100 but they are still impossible to find. No store has them in stock, no one has the ability to order them, and they almost never show up on ebay. People have been waiting on orders for like 6 months. I can understand someone way frustrated with some cash to burn jumping on that.
I waited on my order for just about a month and got it. Maybe it's because I ordered it in small little podunk Eugene, OR...
Weeks before, the shop quoted Bianchi as saying they had 20 in my size (55) for that month and with a little luck, if someone backed out of their order, I'd be able to snag one up. I'm well aware of Bianchi being a pain in the ass about getting these out, but they're not THAT hard to find. Order from a shop where your the first guy on the waiting list is my advice to someone wanting one. Every Bianchi dealer has the ability to order them, it's just a matter of who Bianchi ships them to I guess. It seems like shops with big waiting lists (Glorycycles.com) conversely got little or no Concepts, whereas ones with small ones (place I went to) got one in.
900 for a pista concept? I could buy a Cinelli Vigorelli for that and still have a hundred bucks for a hooker.

Fuck! I've been waiting for that 54 GT to pop up on Craigslist for months and now i don't have any money
guys www.craigslist.com sick stuff on there
So this is the new BikesDirect (but with things currently in stock)? They also have a weird "real" site, http://www.crosslakesales.com
I'd like some input on the legitimacy of the stuff there. Unbranded, choice of aluminum or cromo, with brakes... the components are obviously gonna be nothing to write home about, but it's a $300, ready-to-roll bike in a box.
At the same time, I'm leery buying from a place where I have the option to pick up a pool pump on the same order and combine my shipping to save money.
This is basically my price range but I'm not in a hurry, so waiting for a Kilo or continuing to hunt CL are my other options.
No mention of this site/seller/bike on SSFG, from what I've seen.
Yea.
Thoughts?
(they also have aluminum frame + fork + headset + bb for 150. it's an auction, but i've been watching this for a while and have never seen anything get bid up more than like 10-20 bucks. so if you want to do a "group buy", that could make these even cheaper. and tell your friends who own pools.)
add to the weird stuff there: track ends + cable guide brazes. and a blue alloy bike has tarck geometry, but a black one is more relaxed/roadish:

looks sketchy to me. i would just go with the hour of a kilo tt. its probably worth the wait
tru
what looks sketchy about it? just curious.
longwood:what looks sketchy about it? just curious.
Um the fact that they sell pool pumps and track bikes? And archery equipment? Kinda strange.
anything seem out of place as far as the bikes are concerned? (besides being sold by a place that sells other things)
they just look really really cheap and maybe dangerous.

Did you look at the website? How do you not find it weird?
