toa3t:How it would look fix'd, I guess
I think that bike is hilariously great.
I'm not knocking it.
I just wish I saw less bulletproofs.
You can find awesome used sungino cranks for that price.
i think people like the looks of them. personally i like suginos on older looking bikes and conversions. but i dont think they look good on a newer aluminum or carbon super speed bike. that being said ui do have a pair pf bulletproofs and i will be using them soon.
Ah man, it's been a while since I've been truly impressed by something, but that Nishiki is doing it for me.
that bike is beautiful
yuk, its barney as a bike...

I don't think there's such a thing as a cheap road frame in Portland. That look at least passable/usable?
http://pullman.craigslist.org/bik/651863430.html
just curious, i never run into triple-triangle frames
tarckstands on the washington-idaho border!

The second one was just a curiousity, though. What's the story/purpose behind that design?

Hahaha.
Supposedly the triple triangle makes the frame stiffer. I think the jury's still out on that one though.

GT puts some faith in it.
Yeah, i ride one. Seems if the design worked so well more companies would be using them though.
You could say the same thing about lugged frames.
its used for persuit frames also
How so?
On luggs?
Like how it's supposedly the "best" way to stick steel tubes together, but not the most common anymore.
Well, its too expensive to make lugged frames now. It's hard to profit when yr blowing all yr cash on so called "quality production".
*edited for clarity and grammar.
Haha.
11lbs? My Sputnik with a CF fork weighs 17 according to RCBs hanging scale. Sounds like someone weighed their bike on the bathroom scale, probably while stoned.
This looks like a interesting deal.
http://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/bik/691519630.html
Not the best deal ever since it looks used, but its got a decent component list.
whoa, he's got paper work to prove it haha.
if it is indeed brand new from the factory then that's a good deal. panasonic's are nice quality frames.
o_perkins:
That makes me sad. Someone might be my twin!!!!
