Whoa... don't quote me! I've never met her, so I don't know EXACTLY what she looks like.
Maybe twas Cassady?
Also which PDX store sells the best bike shit for cheap?
^^^ I'm pretty sure Cassady is the one that owns the bike now.
Cassady, you done with riding bikes?
yah steep price for that....good luck ripping someone off!
oh well.
i found a motobecane mirage at the goodwill outlet...
(this is where you ask, why the fuck you telling me this?)
with a white perforated leather turbo saddle in pretty good shape!
so i see it and try to sneakily take off either the seatpost or just the saddle, bring it my allen kit. wait, no, it takes the oldfashioned kind of wrench, fuck! so i head home, get an adjustable wrench, get to work on it, get told by a guy there "hey, no taking apart our bikes, you have to buy it as is, but since you're here often i'll let you work on it as long as you put everything back as it was"
so i take out the seatpost holding screw that's probably bend a good 20 degrees, then see that the post is held in quite tightly by some combo of rust, dirt, and just being jammed the fuck in there. and the bolts on the rail clamps are awkwardly hidden under the turbo so i have basically no access. i show the guy the useless screw and he tells me to put it back anyway, i whack it back in with my wrench handle, then leave.
(oh yea - they were asking $150 for the whole bike. with fucking turkey brake levers, stem shifters, 27 x 1 1/4 wheels, all the good stuff. good thing they have learned something from portland CL - overprice bikes to hell and back)
wow, that old junker sounds like it'd be lucky to fetch $20 from a blind dude...
Pretty bird..

haha just what i had in mind myself...!
Love it :)

Did you not sell that recently? and if so, who the fuck would turn that so fast. Thats a nice frame. =(
you should have kept it
Sold it in May... wanted to switch over to a Pista Concept.
I miss it. Lugged steel is nice.
i love both but steel is real
it's true. you can crash steel and repair it. aluminum = ride it till it's broke because you're shit out of luck to straighten it or replace a tube.
yep yep. true stories

Isn't this that guy that traded front wheels with jonah for a short period of time?

Hey THANX I never thought to post here.I had Roland make the bag custom when I was in Philly, and not many six year old's have a $130 dollar custom bag. If by chance you know were the max line lost and found is located that would be helpful, or spot some hipster trying to squeeze into it can you give me a heads up. THANX.

yeah, that's evan. he's a good guy and a mechanic, i guess he's over track bikes now that he built himself a sweet little custom frame at UBI. he actually had a pretty sweet idea in what to build for himself... it's like a geared track bike with steep angle, tight clearances and very tight wheelbase, and then downtube style shifters on the toptube (not quite stem shifters). even got them neuvex lugs, really nice shit.
tepr:stumptown:recognize that frame?
HI MY EBAY POSTS ARE FUCKING IRRITATING BECAUSE I USE HORRENDOUS TYPEFACES IN ALL CAPS, THAT WAY YOU HAVE TROUBLE READING THE INFORMATION REGARDING MY ITEM
you realize you're talkng shit on sharky, don't you? get over yourself.
sorry i was drunk, couldnt help myself.
no mean things meant.
stumptown:even got them neuvex lugs, really nice shit.
Was it the nuovo or newvex? I'm guessing newvex, but the nuovos are sweet shit too. God I want a welder.....
Wait, then what are Nervex lugs? Gawd, I'm confuzzled.
I will give money if one of you buy that for me...
Or you can just buy it.
Hmm sorry bout that, I thought it was spelled Neuvex because I've always heard it in verbal discussion but never seen it in print. Newvex is what he's got.
Bschultz, Newvex is a style of lugs that Richard Sachs puts out, it's a modern version of Nervex (since Nervex hasn't existed for years). http://www.richardsachs.com/rsachstoys.html
that cdale track will go for big money

Yea if you look at them, they're like semi-identical recreations.
Sooo pretty.
that evan kid consistantly comes off as a jackass.
How so, Zelah?
just the attitude he gives off.
zelah:that evan kid consistantly comes off as a jackass.

hmm, some might say the same for you.
anyways, not that i think you are a jack ass, but evan is a good guy, just a little cocky, like everyone else.
ive never found evan to be cocky. hmm then again people call me "crazy doug" behind my back. allegedly.
