Gauging interest with this...
I've been working close with Charles from Bluesix Bikes for quite a while. He has been supplying me with titanium hardware for my components for some time now. Well as some of you know I make track hubs under the name ZodiacEng. and I use the same thread (M8x1.25) as Paul Comp, Phil Wood, Level, White Industries as well as a few others (Profile uses 5/15-18"). Over the past couple months we have been talking about doing up a set of low profile titanium bolts for the hubs mentioned above. The bolts for the rear hub have a 10mm shoulder and the bolts for the front have a 9mm shoulder.
I am running a set on my track bike and have been running the same bolts (3/8-16") on my bmx bike for eight months. The large head (22mm) fits perfect with the insurance tabs on forks and gives plenty of surface area to grab your frame ends tight. The broach is 6mm for convenience (hence the 6 in Bluesix) and helps reduce the amount of tools needed to work on your bike. Speaking of this, we are also working on similar bolts that fit most square taper cranks. They will be the same material and also feature a 6mm broach. With these bolts in your wheels and cranks you can remove that 8mm from your carry bag and work on your bike with less tools.
As with all Bluesix Bikes these will be under the same warranty offered on all of their components.

Same bolts on my BMX bike...

Colors available if there is enough interest.
looks good. whats the wait/cost like for a low flange rear hub with a set of these?
Price point is kind of important, there's interest here

I don't have any hubs available at the moment. I ran a small batch of fronts and sold all of them pretty quick. The weight is considerably less than a set of steel bolts.

All the current low profile bolts go for $19-$22 each. He runs low quantities though. The material cost is one of the largest factors here. I figure with a higher quantity run I can get a lower retail price. Buying a set of 4 may also be a good way to get a discount. I am mainly gauging interest here.
Those hubs and bolts look real nice. The welds on the dropouts of that track bike however look heinous. Not tryin to be a dick, I just like nice beads.
they look super cool but i wonder if not having a little bit of grip or grooves cut onto the washers would make them slip.
bluesix make a ti spindle compatable with track bb? maybe phil bb cups, the ti spindle phil makes is speenndddyyy. mmmmmm ti
all around the world today the kilo is a measure
those bolts weigh 89 thousandths of a kilogram
easy to remember

yeah.. they should be knurled, like all track bolts normally are, and QRs, so that they hold in the drop outs .

Bluesix doesn't make any track components other than these bolts and possibly crank bolts in the near future if there is enough interest.
As for the washers being knurled/serrated, most hubs that use this type of bolt system have serrations on the face of the collar/jam nut. Having the serrations on the washer is unnecessary. If your wheel is slipping its usually due to paint on the dropouts/frame ends. Adding serrations to the washers will drive the cost way up.
