Engineering is not entertainment ( well, I guess it can be).

Usually people who make shit don't talk shit on someone else's shit unless they can make that shit themselves. The statements about the white bike indicated that someone thought it was just some freakbike and not something with tons of hours of engineering and machining into it.

Someone saws up an old road bike and replaces the tubes with bamboo without the benefit of any sort of alignment and they get accolades. Someone with 4 or so years of design school asks the question "why does a bike need a fork?" and then answers it, well, he's an idiot.

As much as I respect the craftsmanship and skill that goes into building a lugged frame it is not breaking any new ground or solving any unique design issues.

dont get me wrong that finnish dudes bikes are amazing. works of art. the finish work is beautiful. insane details. a bike with a king pin steering knuckle? i wouldn't have thought of it.

i was just goofing for the lolz. sometimes i think you misunderstand my approach to the internet and therefore miss some good laughs.

I will say, however, the finnish dude is not "breaking unique ground". He seems to just be using bikes as a canvas.
