I will fer sher. I was at Amnesia mingling, and drinking beer. PDX has pretty much rocked since I've been here. Everyone is pretty chill for the most part. BTW, that paper(?) disc wheel was ridiculous------ly awesome! Pretty funny man.

No, but I wouldn't mind it. Pretty cool area from what I saw. Just moved down from Seattle, and am staying with a friend in Vancouver right now. I've been commuting back and forth from my office in Portland (a real pain in the ass). I've been looking for an apt in the Portland area, but have know idea where to look, so I've been exploring different areas on my own. Hawthorne seems pretty hip, Pearl reminds me of Seattle (expensive), and the neighborhood around Amnesia... well, I'd definitely consider it, but didn't see any apts. Any insight would be rad!

yeah dude, houses are the way to go. everywhere else it seems like apts is all thats available, but here, youd be doing yourself an incredible disservice if you moved into an apt. houses are bigger, and generally cheaper, provided you have roommates.

Thanks, I totally see where you're coming from. I always had roommates up in Seattle, but unfortunately I don't know anyone around here, and am kinda stuck looking for a 1br maybe even a 2br since in some cases they're pretty close in price. Maybe find a roommate later? I dunno. I'll probably check out Craigslist and housingmaps.com (thanks deliciousfuture)... maybe there's a cool place w/ cool people that I can move in to. We'll see...

I saw a mustachioed dude riding the esplanade around ten or eleven tonight. Said fellow looked like someone i've seen on this forum but i can't figure out who. There was a chick riding with him but i didn't catch anything more than that. I was kind of mobbing to get back to the west side. I figure there couldn't have been TOO many of you riding the esplanade late on a monday evening.
