    Hey dudes, so for Last Thursday I've been trying to orchestrate an art show/bands playing at my house. I've got the bands down I think, but I only have one artist showing so far. I'd love to have you show at my house if you've got some art ready.

    Also, this is an open invite to everyone here to come check out art and listen to music. Maybe free beer, I'm still working on that.

    Thus far, Alex Barrett will be showing her paintings. Im not aware of any sort of online portfolio to link you guys to.

    If you need another artist I always have new shit I'm creating.
    But my stuff is less pleasing and more challenging, so I'm not sure the type of stuff you're looking for.

    One installation is called Cockography and involves penises of the Portland Metro area.

    yah it will be fun. It could be a pre-Bye and Bye stop if anyone is interested in coming. Its quite close, and bands should start around 7, and end pretty earlyish.

    haha, yeah, someone was passing around katie's cucumber infused vodka and i had a bit. i was already really really tired that night, so i had a burst of drunken energy during which i guess i belted out some old school irish music and got recruited to sing for a band. then i remember fighting to keep my eyes open and my head up and thinking "i need to go someplace". which probably was a bad idea since i just fell asleep sitting there right after that.

    i felt sort of bad about that, though. so i tried to clean all the party detritus i saw the next morning.

    Ah shoot. You didn't have to do that. It's appreciated though. I'd much rather have anyone crash at our house, than make an unsafe trip home.

    I have to close at work tomorrow at 9 so I probably wouldn't get out there til 9:30ish. Are people gonna be there still? I think I read in the thread that this event was going to be earlier in the evening.

    yeah it will start around sevenish. It should go until around tenish, and then there is always the bye and bye after that, about 12 blocks away.
