Naw, he had a spoked wheel on the back when it happened. Everyone was amazed that he kept it upright through the whole thing. The whole infield was clapping. He left a serious patch on the track. We were all in agreement that it was probably the most epic skid we've ever seen.

Travis Smith (one of the guys who broke the mens record) hooked me up with those guys after I did a team sprint with him last year. He was putting a lot of friendly pressure on me to "not let his boys down." You have to understand that the ATF team was made to sculpt future Olympians. So I figured these guys were pretty quick. I even over-geared myself for them. And neither of them got the wheel. I missed having the fastest 1st lap by .2 seconds. Second only to the ride that broke the record.

Just sort of irritating to be just as fast as most of the top guys in the country, but not have the reputation to ride with the top guys.

But the USAC and the UCI calls me a 2. So I have no idea what cat I'll end up riding. As a sprinter only, there is no real way for me to upgrade.
