    anyone in for a sunday ride....? meet at fountain at 10.00am tear up the streets from there, smile and wave at all the roadies and self centered pricks.

    if I can only stop being an insomniac. I'm gonna go roast some potatoes, hopefully the consumption of overly starchy food will help.

    So, it was about ten to ten, I was cruising through the rose garden parking area type roads to get cross the steel bridge and meet you guys when this decided to happen mid skid...

    Little bastard snapped right off... Thankfully it was the right side and I lead with my right foot, so 20 years of learning to fall skateboarding helped me out. Little elbow hit and a mini hipper is all I got. I was going to show up anyway just to go 'ready' but I tried to borrow a set of bars from a friend who lives on the riverfront, they ended up not fitting so since I missed the meet up I went home, threw my spares on and rolled around on the east side in the hopes of seeing the pack, but no dice. Next time for sure...hope you guys had a good ride, at least it was sunny when I was out lurkin...

    up through NW downtown and back to the waterfront, around the loop over bridges around the waterfront, out to selwood bridge then over and back to the beginning.
    it was good. some city riding, some sprinting, and some casual riding.

    Apparently something shitty. I bought them from a friend, I think he got them at bike n hike. I'll try and find out so no one else gets shitwhipped on those things...

    damn, some of the riser i see some duders usin are for commuter /hybrid/comfort bikes. if you like rise and yer not using nitto's or swobos at least use the redline BMX "cruiser" bars they are only $20 new and made of heat treated double thick wall aluminum.

    it was good. until my knee started acting up, and I had to break off. but there was four of us.

    I have some risers by "action" I believe and they're pretty good also.
