    Hi everyone -

    If you're not all riding for waffles Saturday morning, weather pending the annual track clean up will be this Saturday the 19th at 10AM

    If you plan on racing it's a great way to meet people before you're out on the track with them head to head. There is a free pancake breakfast provided by Chris King and a pizza lunch from the Portland Velodrome Committee.

    Just for the record, this will happen rain or shine. In the event of rain, we just wont re-paint the track. LOTS of other things still need done though!

    waffles are on friday....but it sounds like i am the only one going....yeah for me.

    dang I am gonna miss the clean up.....reeeaaally wish i could go!

    the obra site says just show up, which we plan on doing. But are any tools needed?

    we got lots of landscaping tools and well...just a lot of tools
    (former auto mechanic and machinist, roomie owns landscape biz)

    No tools needed, unless you've got wire brushes or scrapers for scraping paint. They've got everything else they need there. I'd bring a pair of work gloves, if you have them.

    Show up and have Chris King pancakes. They're not NJS, but they're delicious. Lunch will also be provided.

    i'm fairly certain you aren't required to bring anything. However if you've got the hook up you might send Mike Murray an email and let him know.

    I might not be there, i have a date with Statistics homework. But hopefully I can...

    Anybody driving to this who wants to give me a ride?
    I would pedal it but I don't ride rain geared normally and I don't want to dirty the place up more than I clean it.

    sounds like a good time... however I have to work in the afternoon, and will be helping my friends print their cd covers in the morning so they have something to sell on tour next week.

    Welp, I'm there if weather permits....no car, no ridey the Beavertron Hillsburrito Highway in the rain :(

    However, weather permitting, lets eastsiders who are going, meet at stumptown, belmont prior to going. This way we may partake of the caffeines, nicotines, snacky-treats etc.. and ride as a group.

    As Caligula always said, things are funner in a group.

    I was actually planning on coming. But I have to work this weekend now. Not the full weekend, but will probably come in for 4 hrs each day to get this project where it needs to be to hit our deadlines. =/

    Pretty well, got all the signs put up, patched up a lot of the cracks in the track, and chipped off tons of the old paint. Didnt get a chance to paint due to rain/hail/snow, but it'll happen
