You must race with a track bike (mainly because of bottom bracket height). On Sunday I raced with a rental (GTs with the triple triangle, ooh). My team has a Bianchi that I use sometimes on the track for practice, but when it's a closed practice (just my team), I ride the mixte. Kinda sucks because my ratio is nutty (40/20, but just changed it to 40/16), but I've had no problems with BB height or anything. It's not fun pushing 800 lbs of steel around the loop of pain, though, bahaha.

This coming weekend's waffle rides! On both Saturday and Sunday we're meeting at 10:30 AM at Stumptown on SW 3rd. We're not meeting on the esplanade this weekend because of the Pride Parade/Festival which will be going on downtown and on the waterfront. We'll take the Broadway Bridge to NE Fremont & Mississippi.
