I finally picked up my Redline Monocog 29er that has been on backorder for a few months (pics to follow). Can't wait to take it out this weekend.

Anyone have some trail suggestions? I'm thinking of Hagg lake or Scappoose. What else is good right now?

That Redline seems pretty rad from reviews.
Is that bike FG or SS, or is it a flip flop hub?

Maybe some weekend I can stick my small 32c knobbies on my old french conversion SS and hit the trails a bit. I havent ridden dirt since I was in HS. Ive always meant to ride Spring Water out and find my way into Powell Butte, I dont know if its any good.

    Alex,
I wouldn't recommend Hagg Lake this time of year. It's a freaking disaster out there. Scappoose definately drains better in the water. If I can sneak out in the AM, I'm going to get out there on Saturday.

The Redline is singlespeed only. Comes with a 32x20. Took me forever to ride it the mile from the bike shop :)

I have 32c knobbies on my San Jose and it's a fun bike to take out to forest park. I can't push my gear up the firelanes though which sucks...

Thanks for the tip Porter. I'll try to make it out to Scappoose Sunday morning

Ahhh. Scappoose was great. Amazing how nice those trails are when it's wet out. This was my 4th time on a mountain bike and I fell all over the place but had a great time.

Porter, hit me up if you ever want to go for a ride. I've got some level of fitness but my mountain biking skills are terrible.
