    There's a ride called the Monster Cookie that is put on by the Salem bicycle club every year. I rode it last year and it is flat, flat, flat. A good ride for the long distance fixed rider. You'd want to drive to the start though because it starts and ends at the Salem state capitol building.

    If there is an interest, I may ride it fixed with people.

    I think there's a pretty good chance I'll do this. 3 hours would be what I would shoot for if I was riding in a pace line. Not sure if I could keep that up by myself.

    ... actually this ride is pretty flat so 21 shouldn't be much of an issue.

    Yeah a crew of 5 or 6 roadies. Sounds like there is slim interest here so I am going to do it geared.
