    story:

I was rocking the nitto rb-021 bullhorns but the drop was too deep. I switched to flop n' chops but that was too wide. now I have the syntace stratos installed but I'm not sure I like them. maybe I should get classic road drops with hoods.

Anybody out there have any nitto drops (e.g. - noodle) for trade?

    Here's a picture timeline:

  1.

The afficiandos are going to hate me saying this, but have you tried flipping the horns?

  2.

    wait, thats a stupid idea.

Profile bullhorns? IDK. I currenly have a set of shallow ass ergo Felt drops with no hoods on my fix and it's pissin me off, my wrists hit the bars when I sprint in the drops! No brake hoods though.

Get Nitto B127AA's with brake hoods, best of all worlds combined into one sweet ass bar.

  3.

I have calluses on my wrists from my last set of drops.

I want more of a classic (aka round) road drop. track drops are too deep for my distance-riding ass.

    Nitto Classic

i'll buy your syntace bars maybe...

  4.

    try the rb-018-019 series?

fyi, the noodle is like 2 1/2 feet wide

i didn't like the syntace horns i had, that back sweep hurt my wrists.

if you dont wanna whack your wrist while sprinting in the drops, try the soma "major taylor" or "walker" bars.

good luck, finding the perfect bars is a quest.

Every time I switch bars I always come back to these cinelli la84 pursuits. I cut 'em off right after the 3rd bend and they seem to be "the" bars for me

i see 'em NOS all the time on e-bay, $30

  5.

i just went back to my soma urban pursuit bullhorns. i have been really digin on them again this week.

  6.

urban pursuits are fantastic. Pretty much the perfect climbing bars imo.

I have a love hate for my rb-021s. They are nice, but on my polo bike and I want less handle bar there. And that POS french bike doesnt fit that well either.

My Deda drops on my other bike are freakin great.

^ ^ ^ dude, it's a photo from a shop website for display only. i.e. not my bars. i'd have them cork wrapped and bar ended immediately.

You didn't really specify what about the Syntace bars you didn't like but they come in different drops and widths so there is some adjustment that way... the general bar shape is the same though. To my hands they've been the most comfortable bullhorns I've tried.
